Chic Loafers STYLE FILE
1st May 2015
Take to the streets in a pair of our part-dapper part-chic Tower loafers this winter. With a flirty little tassel detail, Tower is the perfect harmony of masculine and feminine. Fashion stylist and Wittner Walk Tall Influencer Lana Wilkinson shows us how to rug up and rock these loafers.
This season I’ve made a conscious decision to ensure I invest in quality over quantity when it comes to my wardrobe, choosing to purchase items that can be paired back effortlessly with other pieces in my wardrobe.
The must-have jacket style this season is the coat, taking a slightly more fitted approach, with streamlined silhouettes, cleaner lines, and lengths that vary from mid-thigh to below the knee. No matter what your shape and size, when styled correctly, the oversized or slim fitted coat looks good on everyone. It’s just a matter of balancing out your proportions to make the coat work for you. Leaving the coat open also creates a straight line down the centre of your body, giving the illusion of a slimmer figure. Clean lines elongate the frame so you’ll appear taller and leaner.
My leather pants are also a wardrobe staple and as an added bonus, they go with everything. Leather looks chic when styled with a roll neck knit for a more casual look or a crisp shirt for a more sophisticated approach. I styled my black leather pants with my grey Viktoria + Woods coat and knit to complement my patent Tower brogues.
The Tower brogues are a must-have this winter. Invest in a pair of black patent flats that instantly add polish to your outfit. The best part is this shoe can be dressed up and down, thus a must-have as it can be styled with items I already have in my wardrobe like jeans, pants or a midi-skirt. They’re a cool alternative to the ballet flat and are both office and weekend friendly.
This season it’s all about grey. Tonal dressing is the key to this seasons’ sophistication. A timeless neutral palette consisting of creams, greys and black complements the warm and textured collections this Autumn/Winter.
