‘New year, new you’ calls for new shoes! Dance NYE away in our glamorous black Annabelle Heel. Perfect to spruce up any outfit and celebrate the year gone by. Read on as celebrity Stylist Lana Wilkinson and model Lorinska Anderson share their tips and tricks on how to perfectly style your New Years outfit.
What is your top tip for a memorable New Years Eve?
Lorinska: Pace yourself, it’s a big day and eat in between the drinks, you don’t want to miss the count-down and miss out on the free hugs. Plan something for New Years Day as I think that’s an amazing day to celebrate also.
Where are your top three places to head for drinks with the girls?
Lorinska: During Summer, we love heading to Captain Baxter out on the deck sipping away on cocktails. During the cooler months, The Saint Hotel in St.Kilda is a winner and when we are celebrating something extra special like an engagement, birth, birthday or our girls Christmas get together, we head to Lui Bar in Melbourne, OH MY they do killer cocktails.
What is your favourite cocktail?
Lorinska: Ooooo tricky, it depends on the mood I’m in. I do love a good espresso martini at Mr. Miyagi’s, especially during winter and in summer; I love anything sour in a cocktail. I struggle to go past a Mojito, especially when it’s jam packed with mint leaves.
What is a stylish alternative to sequins on NYE that still feels special?
Lana: This season it is all about lace and it lends itself to looking chic and expensive, there are an abundance of styles to suit every body shape
Do you have any style New Years Resolutions?
Lana: I’m going to experiment with new trends and try to incorporate more colour in my day to day wardrobe.
New Years Eve calls for something special, what is your perfect NYE look?
Lana: I can’t go past the perfect party dress. This season it will most likely be an off the shoulder dress in a bold colour
