To us December means one thing: holiday parties! While work and family events are always fun, we love making time to head out with our girlfriends for a pre-Xmas night out on the town. Super star stylist Lana Wilkinson has teamed up with Lorinska Anderson to put together the perfect look for a girls night out. Think pretty, feminine lace paired with lace-up heels in the perfect shade of nude.
Where are your top three places to head for drinks with the girls?
Lorinska: During summer, we love heading to Captain Baxter to sip away at cocktails on the deck. During the cooler months, The Saint Hotel in St.Kilda is a winner and when we are celebrating something extra special like an engagement, birth, birthday or our girls Christmas get together, we head to Lui Bar in Melbourne. OH MY they do killer cocktails!
What is one thing you can’t live without for a night out with the girls?
Lorinska: Instagram for sure!
Your personal style in three words?
Lorinska: Polished, colourful, accessorised.
What is your favourite cocktail?
Lorinska: Ooooo tricky, it depends on the mood I’m in. I do love a good espresso martini at Mr. Miyagi’s, especially during winter. In summer, I love anything sour in a cocktail. I struggle to go past a Mojito, especially when it’s jam packed with mint leaves.
What is your top tip for avoiding taking your shoes off when you’re out dancing?
Lana: Pack some Wittner gel pads, they will provide great relief and cushion comfort to help you dance the night away.
As the warm weather is upon us, what key trends can we embrace for this coming holiday season?
Lana: Playsuits, summer dresses, off the shoulder flared tops paired with wedges, sandals or the perfect pair of lace-up heels.
Which of the shoes used in this campaign do you want to take home?
Lana: All of them, I’m not a one shoe kind of girl; but I do have a soft spot for the Aurelia heels in nude and black.
