The Buckley Boot ONE STYLETWO WAYS
4th Jun 2015
Our latest colour crush, khaki is huge for this season, and just the hue to lend your winter wardrobe a relaxed yet oh so cool edge. Fashion blogger Nadia Burjan shows us how to tap into this trend, demonstrating the versatility of our beautiful soft khaki Buckley boot. This gorgeous style features an over-the-knee shape and gold edging at the heel for an extra luxe touch.
Look 1:
When I think of over knee boots I usually think along the lines of rock chick and leather but I wanted to do something a little different here. This is a much more feminine, romantic look. I picked out this tunic-style dress because it’s the perfect length to team with my khaki Buckley boots. The dress is a little longer in the back which keeps it comfortable and easy to wear, and the front allows you to show off a little bit of leg and break up the space between the boot and the dress. This look can also be easily taken from day to night – just add a leather jacket and you’re good to go!
Look 2:
Fashion has recently welcomed back the 70’s and this look for me was about incorporating a little 70’s vibe whilst keeping it modern and wearable for every day. With this outfit I played around with layers and textures and selected this printed scarf because I felt that the colours in it really complimented the tone of the boots. This colour pallete is also a nice alternative to the usual monochrome we see so much of in winter.
Top Tip: Make the boot your statement, this look definitely doesn’t need to be over done!
