Who is your ultimate style icon?
I don’t really have one specific person I look to but I do love Christine Centenera’s style. An honourable mention also goes to Olivia Palermo and her ability to accessorise. It’s second to none.
You have such an effortless sense of style. Where do you look for inspiration?
I guess I’ve always dressed for myself and look towards trends and styles I know work for me. I never try to force a style, you just end up looking and feeling uncomfortable. I still love flicking through fashion magazines but I also turn to blogs, Instagram and Pinterest.
Your blog has some great tips for the home. What are some of your tricks for creating beautiful interiors?
I love to keep the major pieces neutral so that when the mood strikes (which is often) to change up the vibe I can do this easily with soft furnishings, books, trinkets and art. I also love to create little vignettes around the house to add interest. I often display perfume, shoes, handbags and jewellery too. I see it as art! The best tip is to try making your house feel lived in (plants and flowers do this really well), it’s a home after all, it needs personality.
Heels or flats?
I love a great pair of flats but the extra height and leg lengthening quality of heels is too hard to pass up!
